Shortly before leaving Pakistan I was asked by two former students to go on a photowalk of a model village in Islamabad called “Said Pur Village”.
I feel very fortunate for the time I got to spend that afternoon just strolling around getting lost in the winding paths wedged between the houses. Most visitors who go to Said Pur Village only really see the restaurants. We went on a bit of a detour back in the neighborhoods of the village. While meandering around the twists and turns I encountered reality, not what I really expected to find in a “model” village. Seeing the children playing hide and go seek and running between the chickens and goats touched my heart, I had such a sense of community. Please enjoy the my last photos of Islamabad.

Beautiful photos, each and every one! I believe I liked the goats best! Beautiful!
